The Hickman: Aldgate's Creative Heartbeat

Immersive 3D tours and rendering for Morgan Lovell's 78,000 sq ft Grade A retrofit.

Morgan Lovell: The Hickman

We collaborated with Morgan Lovell to visualize the transformation of Cityside House into 'The Hickman'. Creating a comprehensive suite of 3D renderings and interactive virtual tours, we helped market this 78,000 sq ft Grade A office space in Whitechapel before construction was complete.

About This Project

Project Overview

Repositioning an existing asset requires a shift in perception. The Hickman (formerly Cityside House) was being transformed into a tech-forward hub. Our brief was to capture this evolution. We produced a high-fidelity digital twin that highlighted the blend of industrial heritage and modern smart-building features. These assets were critical for the leasing team to demonstrate the functional flexibility of the floor plates to prospective tenants.

"The virtual tour brought the concept to life. It allowed us to show the flow of the building and the quality of the finishes long before the contractors had finished. A vital tool for our leasing strategy."

Managing large commercial projects requires a structured pipeline. We break down the building into zones to ensure high detail is maintained across thousands of square feet.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do virtual tours help lease large office buildings?

They provide scale. It is hard to judge 78,000 sq ft from a 2D plan. A tour lets tenants understand the walking distances, sightlines, and flow of the building.
