Project

Competition-stage exteriors of a station that had to read as historic and as a working transit building at once.
Concept work runs on deadlines nobody can move, so the images are counted in days rather than in polish. Here it was five. Geometry, the way light catches the masonry, people on the concourse: enough to show that the idea holds at the size it is drawn. Built in 3ds Max and Corona, the architectural visualization a concept gets argued with.

The other three exist to prove the idea holds from more than one angle. That is why concept work is budgeted differently from a marketing set: the hours go into mood, scale and one memorable frame rather than into detail nobody has settled yet. Both revision rounds inside those five days were about atmosphere, not geometry: on a concept the massing is the one thing already decided, and everything above it is still an argument.
