103 seconds through a high-rise office fit-out in Dubai with an oak reception, planted desk runs and reeded glass, rendered before it was built.
Take the 3D tourA high-rise office in Dubai with a pale palette: white oak, white desks, reeded glass and floor-to-ceiling windows. The risk with a scheme like this is that a film turns it into one bright blur, so the design work went into what breaks the light up.
The camera starts at the oak-panelled reception with its long linear pendant, looks into the meeting room with its round table, then walks the open floor where the desk runs are divided by white planters full of pampas grass. Reeded glass partitions slide past the lens and blur the space behind them, which gives the film depth without a single dark surface. The route ends along the corridor of private offices, back towards a green sofa that is the one strong colour on the floor.
We built it from the design drawings with Inc Solutions. The 3D tour of the same office lets a viewer stop at any desk and look out of the windows.
