Advertising group headquarters, Dubai: 3D walkthrough film

About the film

A global advertising group was moving more than 1,000 staff onto several floors in Dubai, and the people signing off the fit-out needed to see it as one place, not as a stack of floor plans. We made the 3D tour and this film with Inc Solutions, from the design drawings.

One continuous route could not carry that much building, so the film is paced in chapters that connect: the trophy wall in mirrored gold shelving, the curtained street-level lounge, the planted cafe under a suspended green canopy with its blue-glazed bar, the long rows of breakout seating along the glazing with the towers outside, and finally the reception with its gold lions and the curved private lounges. We call this way of pacing a large plan Dynamic Flow Video.

Sheer curtains, terrazzo with inlaid brass lines and a lot of low sun made this a lighting job first. The 3D tour of the same offices lets a viewer stop in any of the spaces.
