81 seconds through the Siro One Za'abeel lobby in Dubai, 3,300 sq ft of space rendered from the design drawings before it was built.
Take the 3D tourThe Siro hotel at One Za'abeel needed its lobby seen and approved while it was still drawings. There was nothing to scan, so with Inc Solutions we built the 3,300 sq ft space from the design: a VR tour of 43 positions, eight stills, and this film, delivered in 28 days.
The camera follows a guest's route. It starts at the cafe bar with its dark shelving and menu boards, passes a lounge behind a bronze patterned screen, crosses the concourse on the white marble floor with its brown inlaid lines, and arrives at the Siro reception under the neon sign. The arched black doorway and the turnstiles at the lifts close the route.
Marble that reflects like the real stone and inlays that stay straight at a low camera angle are what make a lobby film believable, so the camera stays low and lets the floor lead. The VR tour of the same lobby lets a viewer stop at any point and look around.
